Deputy Head of Production of Kharg region at Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), Ismael Bahadori, said: “Since the gas injection facilities in Doroud 3 Oil field in Kharg Island are under initial tests, the average gas injection into the field stands at over 100 mcf/d”..
According to the website of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), he also said that Gas injection into Doroud Oil field was over 130 mcf/d in the past few weeks.
He said the figure indicated that the installed gas injection facilities have high-capacity equipments”.
Bahadori also said that presently it was impossible to estimate the exact amount of rise in oil production since the process has still to go on for months to see the output increase.
