Director General of the Oil Ministry’s Education and Human Resources Department said 500,000 qualified workforces will be trained in different specialized branches within the next five years.

Hassan Haji-Hashemi said the forces will be trained in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs under an agreement with the Oil Ministry.

He said 100,000 people will be trained in different courses on a yearly basis, adding the courses will be directed by the Technical and Vocational Skills Training Organization.

He said 10 million rials will be expended on training each workforce, noting that a certificate will be offered the trainees at the end of the course.
