Head of the Reservoir Studies for RIPI, Mohammad Kerammati, made the announcement, adding “the move will help RIPI to carry out comprehensive studies and prepare the plans for the development of the complicated fields”.
He said “conducting studies on Balal, Naft Shahr and Serajeh of Qom is on the agenda of RIPI this year”.
Kerammati noted “so far, reservoir studies have been carried out in major fields such as Azadegan (phases 1 and 2), Maroun, Ahvaz (Asmari layer), Bibi Hakime, Karanj, Yadavaran, Parsi, Naft Shahr and Serajeh,”
He said the project is unique in the world, because the fields are studied in terms of geological aspects and internal structure.
