Iranian Oil Minister Gholam Hossein Nozari says his country has made a new big discovery of in-place crude in a field north of Andimeshk.

According to Shana news agency, the new field contains 1.1 billion barrels of crude oil.

Nozari said oil discovered in Andimeshk is light one with an API gravity of 33 degrees.

Regarding the project to construct Iran-Pakistan-India pipeline, Nozari said the talks have made a good headway, adding that the expert groups will begin their work soon.

He also said the price of the export gas to India needs to be reviewed.
