Talking to Shana news agency, Aminollah Eskandari, head of the Refining section of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said: “Refining of each barrel of crude oil cost $0.7 to $1.2 last year”.
He said: “Iran’s refining capacity is expected to reach 1.650 million barrels per (bpd) day this year”.
He added: “Abadan refinery, with the refining capacity of 400,000 bpd, has the highest refining capacity among other refineries”.
NIORDC official said: “Iranian refineries currently produce 44 million bpd of gasoline, 81million bpd of gas oil, 78 million bpd of kiln oil, 3 million bpd of jet fuel and 21 million bpd of consuming and industrial kerosene”.
