Managing Director of the National Iranian South Oil Company, Gholamreza Hassanbeglou said the desalination factory has the capacity of processing 110,000 barrels of crude oil on a daily basis.
He said the factory will desalinate salty oil produced in Gachsaran Oilfield adding that the inauguration of this desalination factory is another proof and indication of the high technical knowledge and technology of domestic experts.
“This is our fourth desalination unit set up by Gachsaran Oil and Gas Exploitation Company which is affiliated with the National Iranian South Oil Company,” Hassanbeglou said, adding the company produces an average of 740,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
