315 Million Barrels of Gas Minerals Exported From South Pars

More than 315 million barrels of gas minerals have been exported from the first five phases of South Pars Gasfield since their inauguration.

   

Head of the Public Relations Department of Pars Oil and Gas Company Mohammad Reza Abdiyaei said 18 million barrels of this amount had been exported in the first three months of the current Iranian year (started March 20).

He said more than 4.7 million barrels of gas minerals have been exported from Phase 1 of South Pars Gasfield, adding that

Abdiyaei said more than 5.8 million barrels of mineral gas have been exported from Phases 2 and 2 and 7.5 million from Phases 4 and 5 during the same period.

Pars Oil and Gas Company is responsible to develop South Pars, North Pars, Golshan and Ferdosi gasfield south of the country.

When operational, each phase of South Pars Gasfield will generate more than 1.3 billion dollars income for the Oil Ministry.
