Seif-alah Jashnsaz, the Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) set out to South Korea to receive the giant tanker of "Danesh."

According to Shana News Agency, the tanker's capacity is 318 Mln kg and high technology is used for the construction of this tanker.

The oil tanker costs 128 Mln dollar. The managing director of NIOC is to visit South Korea's deputy minister of energy. Bilateral cooperation on energy issues are on the agenda of the visit.

To develop its fleet, National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) has ordered 17 tankers to South Korea.

It is estimated that the company's fleet will have a capacity of 14.111 tons by 2011.
